Old Engineering Work

Just wanted to think back and remember some of my Engineering work from earlier days.

The first set of photos are of a Zippo Lighter that I modeled in ProE.

The second set of photos are of a Sterling Engine that I modeled in ProE.

C++ Program...Hurricane Database

I know its not Photoshop, Illustrator, or a new website, but I've been slammed trying to finish up projects before graduation. So here is the latest C++ program screen shots. Hopefully I can soon get back to spending more time actually enjoying my projects.

This project was the final project of the introductory C++ class that I took as a senior elective. We were required to read in a text file with hurricane data, sort the data alphabetically based on hurricane name, and then allow the user to browse through the database.

I know I still have a long way to go, but 1 foot needs to start moving before the other one does.

Learning Photoshop...Ashleigh's Face

Working on the Senior Design poster got me more interested in photo shop so I decided to spend a little time with it.

After following a few tutorials I found on the web, I ended up with this.

Learning Photoshop...Open House Poster

For our Senior Design open house we had to create a poster. Most people are just printing out their PowerPoint presentations, matting them and gluing them to a trifold board. I decided to try my hand at photo shop.

Here is the final product

The center are in white is where a monitor is going to go with video's of our final testing
